Just wanted to thank my followers for making the first two months of this blog such a success! You’re all terrific.
Now, announcement… I will also be starting a regular blog soon - probably just after the New Year - as a supplement to this one, with more in-depth articles, pictures, etc., plus reviving my design and decorating service business. Yaaaay. :)
So, my dear followers, maybe you can help out and give me a little jump start… I’d like to see if anyone has any suggestions for any articles they would be interested in seeing on my new blog. Particular style of interior design (i.e. Craftsman, Contemporary, Shabby Chic, etc)? Maybe a compilation of rooms (i.e. bedrooms, bathrooms, luxury kitchens, etc)?
If anyone has any ideas, I’d love to hear from you! (and hopefully my Tumblr mail is fixed by now!) ♥

A covered rear porch does double duty as a charming outdoor living space
This sweet, vintage-style black and white bathroom was created from a former closet space. Charming details include the honeycomb mosaic tile floor, genuine vintage porcelain pedestal sink, ruffled shower curtain, and mirror with mother-of-pearl inlay on the frame.
Beautiful wooden stairs are original to this charming restored Swedish cottage, built in 1720
(Arrrgh. And it’s for sale. If only we could cough up a spare 300,000€)…

A custom designed fireplace with marble mantle and carved plaster embellishments, plus a wall of windows with a double row of transoms, gives a light and airy feeling to this music room
